Ubisoft Pledges €500,000 to<br />Restoration of Notre Dame Cathedral Ubisoft has announced their support and<br />solidarity for Notre Dame after a <br />devastating fire tore through it on April 15. The gaming company has pledged a<br />donation of €500,000 to aid in the<br />reconstruction of the historic cathedral. They also announced that their game,<br />Assassin’s Creed: Unity, will be available<br />at no charge until April 25. Ubisoft, via statement 'Assassin’s Creed: Unity' is set in Paris during the<br />French Revolution and features a detailed<br />recreation of the iconic Notre Dame cathedral. Their digital version of the<br />building was painstakingly created<br />by level artist Caroline Miousse. Miousse spent two years on the project,<br />working with historians and texture artists<br />to ensure every detail was as accurate as possible. Ubisoft, via statement
