At least 48 Palestinians were wounded on Friday during clashes with Israeli soldiers along the eastern Gaza Strip, according to the Gazan health ministry.<br /><br />Demonstrators waved Palestinian flags and threw stones at soldiers, who responded with live fire, rubber bullets and tear gas canisters.
