YNW Melly Faces <br />Possible Death Penalty <br />in Murder Case Earlier this year, Melly was charged with two counts of first-degree murder in Florida. The rapper allegedly shot two of his friends last October and covered it up to make it look like a drive-by shooting. According to TMZ, legal <br />documents reveal that the State <br />will push for the death penalty. Prosecutors believe they <br />"can prove beyond a reasonable doubt" that <br />Melly is guilty and also a criminal gang member. The 19-year-old rapper has <br />pleaded not guilty. Florida is one of 30 states that allows <br />the death penalty for heinous crimes.
