South Korea's ruling Democratic Party and two minor opposition parties have approved designating two key reform bills as fast track legislation.
This comes after the floor leaders of four parties on Monday agreed to fast track bills on electoral reform to boost proportional representation... and creating a body to investigate high-ranking government and public officials.
The fast-track measure prevents bills that fail to get bipartisan support... being stuck in parliament for too long.
The minor opposition Bareun Mirae Party is also seeking approval from its lawmakers, but some are against the move.
The main opposition Liberty Korea Party -- that's not part of the agreement -- says it will fiercely resist the move,... saying the parties involved in the deal have given up on parliamentary democracy.
