A brave cop ran to save the life of a hearing-impaired elderly man from an oncoming train. <br /><br />The 70-year-old man was sitting on the edge of a platform at the railway station on April 21. He failed to notice or hear Jambuwati Howrah Express passing through the tracks next to him. <br /><br />A railway police constable Abhishek Pandey who was patrolling the platform saw that the elderly man’s life was in danger. He ran and pulled him to safety on time.<br /><br />Abhishek’s senior officers praised his work and said he would be rewarded.
