UK Prime Minister Theresa May, Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn and Ireland president Michael Higgins joined other political leaders in attending McKee's funeral today (April 24).<br /><br />Ireland Prime Minister Leo Varadkar and DUP leader Arlene Foster also showed up to pay their respects to McKee who was shot dead whilst covering a riot in Londonderry on Thursday (April 18).<br /><br />A round of applause broke out earlier as McKee's hearse arrived at St Anne's Cathedral, where the funeral service is being held.<br /><br />Mourners wearing Marvel and Harry Potter themed t-shirts were also seen walking towards St Anne's Cathedral.
