조선시대로 떠나는 여행, 한국민속촌 '웰컴 투 조선'<br /><br />Visitors to Korea can step back in time this spring and summer, and experience life back in the Joseon Dynasty.<br />The Korean Folk Village is hosting a traditional culture festival named 'Welcome to Joseon' and our Kan Hyeong-woo takes us there. <br />Dressed in traditional clothes, horse-riders perform highly-skilled techniques. <br />The crowd answers with a round of applause.<br />The Korean Folk Village has organized a special cultural festival- 'Welcome to Joseon.'<br />"It's been fun and educational. It's nice that you can get to go through the traditional layout of how Korea used to be and the food is good, too." <br />The Joseon dynasty era lasted for about five hundred years from the late 1300s to the late 1800s.<br />Surrounded by Joseon-style architecture and props, actors dressed in traditional outfits perform skills on horseback, as well as holding a traditional wedding ceremony and a concert to celebrate the local governor's birthday.<br />And visitors can get involved too, through a range of hands-on activities.<br />The stamp tour gives you an opportunity to try out different costumes from the Joseon Dynasty.<br />"You can get stamps at different spots around the Korean Folk Village. Once you have collected all of them, you will be given this 'Hopae' - an identification tag used during the Joseon Dynasty."<br /> The Korean Folk Village's surroundings add to the feeling that visitors really have stepped back in time.<br />"Just so many programs, there's so many things. The nature here is very nice, too. The air is nice. So it's a very nice place to come.
