President Moon Jae-in visited Goseong, Gangwon-do Province, this morning to comfort the victims of the massive wildfires that caused widespread damage in the region earlier this month.<br />The president's trip to Goseong is part of the eighth leg of his nationwide economic tour, which began last year.<br />He paid a visit to temporary shelters that are being used by around 160 victims whose homes were destroyed in the inferno.<br />President Moon also inspected sites where restoration work is ongoing.<br />It's the second time the president has visited the scene of the disaster. <br />
