'인증 위반' BMW 2심도 145억원 벌금…벤츠는 27억원<br /><br />The Seoul Central District Court on Friday upheld its ruling against BMW Korea for fabricating emission tests.<br />It confirmed a fine of about twelve-and-a-half million U.S. dollars.<br />The court said the emissions appear to have been faked on purpose,... and so it upheld the prison sentences of up to ten months handed down to six employees.<br />On the same day, the court decided to slightly reduce a fine against Mercedes-Benz Korea.<br />It had also been found guilty of violating emissions-related certification procedures.<br />But it cut the fine by roughly 85-thousand dollars... to 2-point-3 million.<br />
