Activists attached to the group Extinction Rebellion have staged a "die-in" in a Waitrose store in King's Cross this afternoon (April 26).<br /><br />The group, who have held multiple protests around the capital over a 10-day-period, which ended last night in Marble Arch.<br /><br />The group, who targeted the supermarket regarding the effect that industry has on the environment, acted as if they were dead in the aisles of the store.<br /><br />Ryan Hand, who lives nearby was in the shop, he encountered the protesters on his way home from work.<br /><br />Hand told Newsflare: "[I] walked to the fruit and veg aisle - and - BOOM there they were."<br /><br />He explained that children were handing out flyers but he was under the impression that they didn't know why and could possibly have been coerced.<br /><br />"People were laughing and the security guard who worked there didn't really know what to do." he later added.
