Cruise ships have arrived in Southampton a day early to avoid Storm Hannah, according to an eyewitness who captured the scene on camera.<br /><br />P&O cruise ship Britannia is seen docking in Southampton a day early, with passengers now spending the last night of their cruise safely docked alongside the Ocean Terminal rather than face the predicted stormy weather at sea, the filmer wrote.<br /><br />Princess Cruise ship Sapphire Princess is also seen racing into Southampton a day early, with passengers spending the night onboard docked in port rather than risk the stormy seas whipped up by the bad weather, the filmer added.<br /><br />The video was filmed by Nigel Allen from a car ferry going from Southampton to the Isle of Wight. <br /><br />The ships would have been scheduled to dock on Saturday morning at around 5am, Allen said.<br /><br />Allen, who lives in the Isle of Wight and was visiting family in Southampton, runs a YouTube channel that features cruise ship tips and reviews.
