An Uber rideshare passenger was shot and killed while inside the vehicle on Friday (April 26) in Harris County, authorities have said.<br /><br />Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said deputies responded to a call from an Uber driver, who picked up a fare about 1.5 miles away.<br /><br />The Uber driver stated that a male fare got into the back of the car when another rider approached the vehicle and shot the victim multiple times.<br /><br />The driver fled to a parking lot at TC Jester and FM1960 and awaited law enforcement. The suspect fled the scene on foot. <br /><br />The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the filmer.<br /><br />A second crime scene and containment was established at the location of the shooting, TC Jester and Laurel. <br /><br />The suspect is described as a black male, who was wearing a white shirt, tan pants and had shoulder-length dreadlocks.
