Multinational maritime drills are being held in waters near Korea's southern port city of Busan this week... by participating nations of the ASEAN Defence Ministers' Meeting-Plus.<br /> The Korean navy says... 16 warships and six aircraft from a dozen countries... are taking part in the two-part exercise.<br />Korea is sending the guided missile destroyer Wang Geon , guided missile frigate Jeonbuk , amphibious landing ship Cheonjabong ,... and three helicopters for part one of the exercise,... which starts Monday.<br />It's sending the destroyer Wang Geon for the second part of the drills,... which will kick off in waters near Singapore on May 9. <br />
