Multinational marit ime drills are being held in waters near Korea's southern port city of Busan this week... by participating nations of the ASEAN Defense Ministers' Meeting-Plus.<br />The Korean navy says... 16 warships and six aircraft from a dozen countries... are taking part in the two-part exercise.<br />Korea is sending the guided missile destroyer Wang Geon , guided missile frigate Jeonbuk , amphibious landing ship Cheonjabong ,... and three helicopters for part one of the exercise,... which starts Monday.<br />The second part of the the drills kick off in waters near Singapore on May 9th to which South Korea will send the destroyer Wang Geon. <br />
