A powerline repairman showed off the mechanisms used to keep the power supply to a town in Greenland running, as cables are run through to shatter the ice forming on them. <br /><br />This amazing clip from near the town of Nuuk in western Greenland, filmed on September 4, 2018, shows how the cables run from 1000m above sea level to a height of 5400m, and how vibration dampers have to be installed to keep the cables intact.
