The Ottawa river made a car park look like a beach, when floodwater submerged it entirely, turning it into an impromptu beach with fragments of nearby trees lining the edges.<br /><br />According to the filmer, who shot the footage last Sunday (April 28), the flooding was caused by: "extreme weather events [such as] record-high snowfall in late winter and rain fall in spring."
