Today is May 1st... and that means it's International Labor Day, a day that celebrates workers and promotes their rights. <br />To mark the day,...the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions will host a Labor Day demonstration at Seoul Plaza at 2 p.m., Korea time.<br />This year's slogans include fully abiding by International Labour Organization agreements and abolishing of the chaebol structure that sees family dynasties control the country's biggest conglomerates. <br />The 2019 Labor Day Marathon, hosted by the Federation of Korean Trade Unions every year since 2006,...will also start at Culture Square in Yeouido at 10 a.m.<br />Workers, their families and migrant workers will take part in the event. <br />
