WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange says he does not consent to being extradited to the U.S. over charges related to leaking government secrets.<br />His extradition hearing in London on Thursday came a day after he was sentenced to 50 weeks in jail for breaching the Bail Act in response to his arrest last month.<br />The 47-year-old told the court that he do not wish to surrender himself for extradition for doing journalism that has won many awards and protected many people.<br />While the case was adjourned until May 30th,... the UK needs to decide whether to extradite Assange to the U.S. over WikiLeaks' decision to publish thousands of classified documents. <br />
