Ahead of a rally "to defend Islam" this Saturday, Home Minister Muhyiddin Yassin has warned that police will take stern action against those who insult any religion.<br /><br />Commenting on the rally organised by Gerakan Pembela Ummah (Ummah), Muhyiddin said he saw the demonstration as a possible attempt to incite Muslims.<br /><br />"(This rally) appears inclined to fan racial and religious sentiments, especially among Muslims.<br /><br />"As the home minister, the ministry through the police will not hesitate to take stern action in accordance with the law towards anyone who insults any religion," Muhyiddin said at a joint interview in Putrajaya on Thursday.
