Before reaching his success with songs including "Farewell Party" and "14 Carat Mind", Gene Watson began his career singing in local clubs in the early 1970s.<br /><br />"Speak Softly (You're Talking to My Heart)" written by Jesse Mendenhall and Steve Spurgin reached #9 on the US Country charts in 1982.<br /><br />This performance was recorded live at Church Street Station in Orlando, Florida.
