The Dovells were well known for their lively dance songs including their first hit 'Bristol Stomp' and the well known 'Do the New Continental.'<br /><br />In 1963, The Dovells recorded 'You Can't Sit Down,' which reached number three on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and number ten on the Billboard R&B chart.<br /><br />This performance was recorded live at Little Darlin's Rock 'n' Roll Palace, in Kissimmee, Florida.
