Korea's smartphone exports have fallen for the eight consecutive month.<br />According to the Ministry of Science and ICT on Sunday, exports of finished smartphones and components recorded 910 million U.S. dollars in March,... a 33 percent decline from the same period last year.<br />Due to global stagnation in the smartphone market, exports of finished smartphones fell almost 40 percent year-on-year,... while exports of smartphone components also declined partially as local phone makers expanded overseas production.<br />Market research firm Strategic Analytics also forecast the global smartphone market will shrink by 2-point-9 percent by shipment compared to last year. <br />
