Scores of tourists queue outside Buckingham Palace in central London to get a peek at the easel announcing the birth of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s baby boy.<br /><br />The message was placed in the forecourt of Buckingham Palace on Monday afternoon. <br /><br />According to UK media, it was brought out just after 4.45pm from the Privy Purse Door.<br /><br />The announcement reads: "The Queen and the Royal Family are delighted at the news that Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex was safely delivered of a son at 0526am today. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well."<br /><br />“It was really exciting,” said one tourist from Ireland.<br /><br />One tourist from Canada said she had visited the palace unaware of the royal baby announcement.
