South Korea has opened a visa application center in Indonesia to accommodate the increasing number of visitors to the country.<br /> The Korean Embassy in Jakarta announced that it will no longer accept visa applications.<br />Instead, Indonesians are now required to apply at the Korea Visa Application Center in Jakarta's Lotte Shopping Avenue mall.<br />Embassy officials said the new center is in a more accessible location and will receive applications for six hours a day, as opposed to two and a half hours at the embassy.<br />In 2018, the Korean embassy issued nearly 160-thousand visas to Indonesians-- nearly four times the number recorded in 2010. <br />
