Trump Pardons <br />Soldier Convicted of <br />Killing Iraqi Prisoner The Trump administration <br />announced a full pardon to <br />Army 1st Lt. Michael Behenna. Behenna had been convicted <br />in 2009 by a military court of <br />killing a suspected al-Qaeda member. Ali Mansur Mohamed was shot <br />and killed by Behenna in 2008 <br />during questioning about a road-side bombing. Behenna was sentenced <br />to 25 years and paroled in 2014. The former soldier spoke personally <br />with President Donald Trump on the phone.
