FBI Honors Dolly Parton For Relief<br />Efforts After Tennessee Wild Fires The Dollywood Foundation was recently awarded<br />the 2018 Director’s Community Leadership Award<br />at the FBI Headquarters in Washington D.C. The award is in recognition of her work<br />to raise money for victims of the Tennessee<br />wildfires that ravaged the area in 2016. The wildfires spared her famed Dollywood<br />theme park, but destroyed thousands of<br />other structures and killed 14 people. Her foundation created the “My People Fund”<br />and provided $10,000 to 900 affected families.
