At least seven inmates were killed and more than 10 wounded in a shooting inside a Guatemala prison on Tuesday (May 7).<br /><br />Footage shows police officers at the scene outside Pavon prison, situated on the outskirts of Guatemala City.<br /><br />Dead bodies wrapped in white sheets lie on the floor inside the penitentiary centre later in the video.<br /><br />The shooting broke out following a fight between two inmates. <br /><br />Prisoners had control of the facility for eight hours before the police managed to take over the centre, agencies reported.<br /><br />Pavon prison is one of the most populated in Guatemala, housing at least 4,000 prisoners.
