Justin Timberlake to Be Honored <br />by Songwriters Hall of Fame The organization's 50th annual <br />induction ceremony will take place <br />next month in New York. Timberlake will receive the Contemporary Icon Award. The award is given to a <br />"songwriter-artist who has attained <br />an iconic status in pop culture." The only other person to receive <br />the honor is Lady Gaga, <br />who was recognized in 2015. Others included in the 2019 Songwriters Hall class are: Missy Elliott, Cat Stevens, John Prine, Tom T. Hall, Jack Tempchin <br />and Dallas Austin.
