The United States says it has seized a North Korean cargo vessel known as the "Wise Honest",... after officials say it allegedly violated U.S. and UN sanctions by illegally shipping coal from North Korea.<br />According to the U.S. Justice Department,... the ship is now in the possession of the United States. <br />It added the ship is one of the regime's largest bulk carriers and was also used to deliver heavy machinery to North Korea.<br />It marks the first time the U.S. has seized a North Korean cargo vessel for violating sanctions.<br />The ship was previous detained by Indonesia in April 2018,... when was caught transporting over 25-thousand tons of coal. <br />
