The U.S. Defense Department has confirmed North Korea fired "ballistic missiles" on Thursday.<br />The Pentagon said the launches by the regime consisted of multiple ballistic missiles that flew more than 300 kilometers and landed in the sea. <br />A Pentagon spokesperson said in a statement that the regime fired the missiles from a northwestern location in North Korea. <br />
