This was the hilariously disappointing moment a Scottish family were denied a viewing of the Flying Scotsman, as another train blocked the view of it passing.<br /><br />In footage captured last night (May 9) in Dunbar, East Lothian the legendary locomotive is seen approaching on the far side of the tracks but is soon obscured by a modern Cross Country train on the near side.<br /><br />Katharine Rudden who was with her five-year-old son Aidan and partner at the time told Newsflare: "We couldn’t believe it at the time! My son giggled and my partner had to refrain himself from laughing!<br /><br />"We even got our son out of bed to see it."<br /><br />Rudden later added: "We were waiting for a good 10 minutes!"
