Square Enix Drops Teaser for 'Final Fantasy VII' Remake The game was first <br />revealed back in 2015. It has since gone through <br />some development issues. Thanks to this new trailer, it appears things are back <br />on track. The one-minute teaser shows off many cinematic shots and the <br />game's battle system. Based on what's been seen, it appears to be <br />a "re-imagining" of the original 1997 RPG. All of the scenes take place in the city of Midgar where the game first begins. The 1997 Playstation original <br />is considered to be <br />one of the greatest <br />video games ever produced. Along with the trailer this week, Square Enix says more information will be released next month. As of now, the game's <br />release date is not yet known.
