기재부, 버스 파업 자제 요청...근로자 임금 지원기간 확대할 것 <br /><br />The government is asking bus drivers not to go on strike this Wednesday, promising extra financial support for them.<br />Bus drivers across the country had voted last week to strike over a new law that'll cut their hours, meaning lower pay.<br />That law takes effect from July, limiting hours to 52 a week.<br />Now the finance ministry, in a statement this evening, has offered financial support for two years from that point instead of one.<br />It also said the government will look for ways to address their grievances in future cabinet meetings.<br />Earlier today, the finance minister had sounded sympathetic to the unions, saying that regardless of the strike it might be time to raise bus fares. <br />
