He let slip that the Wachowski sisters,<br />who wrote and directed the three previous<br />movies, are set to be involved in the reboot. He could not confirm whether<br />they would be directing the film or<br />playing a different role. This comes as surprising news,<br />as it was initially rumored in 2017 that<br />the pair were not going to be involved.
