Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad has denied there are political appointees interfering in the duties of civil servants.<br /><br />Instead, he said, the statement by the Congress of Unions of Employees in Public and Civil Services (Cuepacs) on such a matter was just a misunderstanding. <br /><br />The prime minister was responding to a claim by Cuepacs president Azih Muda (photo) that even a year after Pakatan Harapan had taken federal power, the congress still receives complaints from civil servants about interference in their duties.
