문 대통령, "추경 신속한 처리 위한 논의 시급,... 여야정 협의체 조속히 개최해야"<br /><br />President Moon Jae-in has ordered his Cabinet to speed up their work to boost the South Korean economy. <br />In Tuesday's Cabinet meeting,... the president called on his ministers to do more to reform the economy to ensure better outcomes... and again asked for bipartisan support from the National Assembly.<br />Here's the President.<br />"More than anything, the passage of the government-led supplementary budget bill is an urgent matter. An extra budget is necessary to cope with natural disasters and fine dust issues, as well as driving up consumption. This is a budget that will directly improve the livelihoods of the people."<br />President Moon called for a meeting with the leaders of the five rival political parties... saying they need to reach a compromise over contentious issues like the provision of food aid to North Korea and economy-related matters.<br />He said... they can discuss the most pressing issues,... as long as the main opposition Liberty Korea Party agrees,... sending a direct message to the only party that has strongly opposed such a meeting. <br />
