It’s associated heavily with the<br />unpopular Trump name and the Russian<br />scandal surrounding his presidency. The building's occupancy rate has plunged<br />to 83%, making its vacancy rate double<br />the average in Manhattan. According to investors,<br />Trump hasn't updated the<br />tower in years, adding<br />to its undesirability. The commercial portion of the building<br />has also struggled, with more than 42,000<br />square feet of vacant office space. The only boost in sales has come from his 2020<br />campaign team, who have spent over $890,000<br />in the past two years to rent space in the building.
