Dr Mahathir Mohamad today sought to appease Bersatu members upset at not being appointed to important government positions after Pakatan Harapan took Putrajaya last May.<br /><br />The Bersatu chairperson said that his party was bound by Harapan's election manifesto to not make any political appointments.<br /><br />However, he added that those who made sacrifices to ensure the coalition's victory in the 14th general election would be rewarded in other ways.
