This is the terrifying moment a mountain biker's handlebars came off in mid-air as he attempted a huge jump in Slovenia last month.<br /><br />But lucky rider Jan Rescic walked away with only a few scratches.<br /><br />"So I was having fun with my friends at the dirt jumps and everything was going great until the last run," the rider told Newsflare. <br /><br />"So I rolled to the jumps, jumped the first jump and then at the kicker of the second jump my bars just snapped," he said. <br /><br />"Lucky I could walk away with just some scratches on my arm and back. It could have been so much worse," he concluded.
