A dramatic video has emerged of a leopard being rescued in western India. <br /><br />The incident took place on May 18 in Navsari city of Gujarat state.<br /><br />Visuals showed forest department officials covering a building with a net, understandably to prevent the leopard from escaping. <br /><br />Footage showed the leopard falling into the net for a brief second, however, it managed to gain balance and rid itself of the mesh.<br /><br />Another footage showed the leopard lying on the ground with its limbs tied. The predator was seen snarling as a crowd gathered around it.<br /><br />Reports said the animal strayed away from the forest and entered the residential area, injuring a person before forest department officials rushed to the spot and captured it.
