The Eiffel Tower has been evacuated following reports of a man climbing up its side.<br /><br />Footage shows the man scaling the building this afternoon (May 20).<br /><br />''Man climbed up the side of the Eiffel Tower and dangled off the top for 3 hours,'' the filmer said.<br /><br />A team of firefighters is on the scene and in touch with the climber. It is unclear the reason why the man climbed the French landmark, media reported.
