A helicopter pilot pulled off a series of impressive aerobatics over New York City's Hudson River, including flips and barrel rolls.<br /><br />Pilot Aaron Fitzgerald, who grew up in Wenatchee in Washington state, performs a backflip, nosedives and a series of barrel rolls over the New York City skyline during the early hours of Saturday, May 18.<br /><br />The ground footage clearly shows the Red Bull helicopter successfully performing a barrel roll with another aircraft trailing behind.<br /><br />Fitzgerald also explains the roles of the dials and switches and how they affect the flight of the helicopter.<br /><br />According to an online bio, Fitzgerald has performed and filmed for over 100 films and television shows and clocked up more than 8,500 air miles.
