Coca-Cola Bringing Back 80s' Drink <br />for 'Stranger Things' Season 3 The beverage company has teamed up <br />with Netflix for the return of 'New Coke.' 'New Coke' previously debuted in 1985, the <br />same year 'Stranger Things' season 3 is set in. The drink will be showcased in select episodes <br />of the hit show, which comes back July 4. The original launch of 'New Coke' back <br />in the 80s was seen as a disaster. Fans were not pleased with it replacing the drink <br />they were already accustomed to and rebelled. After less than three months, 'New Coke' was <br />taken off the market and replaced with the original. The concoction for it has since remained at <br />Coca-Cola's headquarters in Atlanta.
