Japan's foreign affairs ministry has rejected the compensation lawsuit filed by victims of Japan's wartime sexual enslavement.<br /> Japan's Kyodo News reported on Tuesday...that Japan informed South Korea through a diplomatic channel that it refuses to follow South Korea's jurisdiction and argues the lawsuit should be dismissed.<br />A total of 20 South Korean victims and their families filed a lawsuit against the Japanese government in 2016, demanding a legal compensation for their emotional and physical pain. <br />The hearing has yet to begin,...as Japan argued it already reached a final agreement with South Korea's previous government in 2015. <br /><br />
