VANCOUVER, CANADA — Huawei's Chief Financial Officer is currently under house arrest in her six bedroom mansion worth millions of dollars, according to Reuters.<br /><br />Meng Wanzhou has been detained in Canada since December 2018 for her role in allegedly misleading banks to evade US sanctions against Iran, CNN reports. <br /><br />Since then Meng has requested a judge on the Canadian Supreme Court to move into another one of her properties, on Matthews Street residence.<br /><br />The mansion is around 8,170 square feet and contains seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms, according to Reuters.<br /><br />This new mansion would be fully fenced and allows "controlled access" for pedestrians and vehicles entering the house.<br /><br />According to Reuters, Meng is allowed to move around Vancouver relatively freely. But, as reported by CNN, she is required to wear a GPS ankle bracelet.
