유엔군축연구소장 "핵전쟁 위험, 2차대전 이후 최고 수준": 로이터<br /><br />A top security expert at the UN has warned that the risk of nuclear war is at its highest since World War II.<br />Renata Dwan, the head of the UN Institute for Disarmament Research, says the arms control landscape is changing, partly due to strategic competition between the U.S. and China.<br />She urged the UN Security Council to treat what she called the "urgent" issue more seriously.<br />Disarmament talks have been in limbo for the past two decades as major nuclear powers, such as the U.S. and China, have been opposed to a prohibition treaty. <br />
