The remains of Paduka Ayahanda Sultan Ahmad Shah Al-Musta'in Billah ibni Al Marhum Sultan Abu Bakar Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mu'adzam Shah arrived at the Kuantan Air base at 7.25 Wednesday evening.<br /><br />The hearse carrying the remains then made its way to the Istana Abu Bakar in Pekan.<br /><br />The late Ruler's remains will be buried at the royal burial grounds next to the Sultan Ahmad Shah Mosque in the town after Zohor prayers on Thursday.<br /><br />Read more at https://www.thestar.com.my/news/nation/2019/05/22/pahang-declares-may-23-a-state-holiday/
