美 미주리주 토네이도 강타...최소 3명 숨지고 수십명 부상<br /><br />A series of powerful tornadoes whipped across America's Midwest this week, killing at least three people in Missouri and destroying buildings and homes<br />At least 20 people were treated for injuries in Jefferson City and emergency officials went from door-to-door searching for survivors.<br />The Missouri Department of Public Safety says power lines are down and it advised people to stay away from the damaged areas.<br />In the town of Webbers Falls, Oklahoma, a mandatory evacuation order was issued as a result of flooding from the Arkansas River described as a "life threatening situation" by officials.<br />Two wayward barges slammed into the Lock and Dam 16 due to the flood but local officers said the lock was not damaged. <br />
