This is the terrifying moment patients run for cover as a storm tears through a hospital waiting room. <br /><br />CCTV footage shows locals waiting for treatment when heavy wind and rain suddenly appeared outside on May 22.<br /><br />The tropical storm whipped through the building causing a picture of the Thai king to be blown from the wall as hospital beds were flung across the floor.<br /><br />While outside the building, wheelchairs were blown away as rain lashed the Ban Bueng Hospital in Chonburi, eastern Thailand.<br /><br />The weather was the strongest tropical storm to hit the region this year with more than 80 houses damaged and many trees and electric poles were collapsed within two hours.<br /><br />Surasit Worawitkit, the mayor of Ban Bueng subdistrict, ordered the rescue foundation to provide immediate help to the locals.<br /><br />He said: "Officers removed trees that fell over near houses and blocked the roads. We also provided food, water, and temporary spaces for the citizens to stay and rest."
