The auction house originally thought it <br />would only sell for up to $2,000. The piece of grunge memorabilia was from a <br />show in Washington, D.C., on April 23, 1990, <br />before Nirvana was famous. It is accompanied by <br />a letter of authenticity <br />from Johnny Riggs <br />of the band THUD, <br />who opened for <br />Nirvana that night.
